The condo was clean, the bed was very comfortable. Parking was a short walk out the door. No air conditioning was not a problem because of the location, the sun could never shine into the condo directly, and there are plenty of fans to move air.

At the time we were there (February 2018) there was renovation to the end building going on, which was right across the walkway from us. It could be very noisy during the day, however we were gone everyday for most of the day so it did not bother us that much. The work crew generally worked from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. except on week ends, don’t know when they will be finished.

In addition to the work across the way the buildings patio area was being resurfaced so it could not be used all of the time we were there. It should be finished soon, they just needed to color the new surface to match the old when we left.

Once all the work is finished it should be a nice stay for other guests. It is very convenient to the Cultural Center, the north shore is a easy drive along with the Dole Pineapple farm. You don’t have to drive through the heavy traffic of Honolulu to get to Pearl Harbor.

I would give this four stars if it wasn’t for the construction.

Awesome condo close to North Shore. Very clean and comfortable condo away from tourist areas but close enough to enjoy them. Toured the entire island and was always home before 8. Would highly recommend if going to Oahu. Thanks

We arrived to a house that was still in the process of being cleaned. We went ahead and did some groceries, and came back to a clean condo… Emmanuel and Kathe (the care taker) were very responsive and apologetic, and Kathe even left us a Christmas goodies basket for the faux pas upon arrival.

The condo is ideally located, and the screened in lanai is fantastic to watch the sunrise and enjoy a cup of coffee. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, and everything works. We did not need to turn on the multiple fans Emmanuel has provided, but opening the lanai door and the front door of the unit allows a steady cool breeze through the unit. The swim gear included multiple swim boards, flippers, snorkels and goggles. Emmanuel even has some beach toys for the little ones. There is a double bed and a pull out sofa, that was comfortable for a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 kids, a teenager and 8 year old). The beach behind the condo is small, with a bit of a drop off created by the ocean tides, but it is safe and ideal for a relaxing swim. There are plenty of other beaches nearby, and the proximity to both groceries and the Polynesian Cultural Center is a big plus. We enjoyed the pastries at Teds Bakery as well as the delicious shrimp at Giovannis food truck, both of which are close by. The drive to Honolulu is less than an hour when you need to go into town for sightseeing. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with our Hawaii vacation and we had a fantastic time over the Christmas break. Emmanuel and Kathe are good folks, and we highly recommend this unit.

The location, condo, and atmosphere is the perfect vacation. My family enjoyed the time immensely. Mr Chen was great to work with and we will return. Snorkeling was great and everyday we saw sea turtles. Plan your next Hawaii vacation here

• Cleaning Fee $135
• Tax Rate 14.96%

Your fully refundable $300 reservation deposit becomes your security deposit during your stay. By Hawaii state law it must be postmarked no later than 14 days from your departure. If you check with my past guests, I am much more prompt than that. It is sent in the form of bank check from First Hawaiian Bank so the funds are withdrawn as soon as the check is dispersed. $139 rate is based on double occupancy. Please add $9 per night per person after two.
