loved this place.

4 of 5

Everything was perfect. Our stay was from July 22nd through August 4th and every day was Paradise we loved the condo close to everything. But far away from the tourist. I would stay here every time I go back to Hawaii love the beach was so close the swimming pool was always clean. They are doing a few updates on some things just to make this place better than it already is. The beautiful flowers outside the condo was refreshing everyday would recommend this for a family of 4 but you can live 5 in here comfortably love the convenience of the washer and dryer and the detergent already provided love the convenience of dishwasher frigerator mugs in the freezer for cold beer plenty of pots pans and everything you may need to cook with. I could keep rambling on but this is a great place to rent remember there is no air conditioner and in the months of July and August it was extremely hot at night had to sleep with a fan wide-open on me. I am from South Carolina and I love air conditioner took me a week to get used to the condo without air other than that it is a great place to stay

Owner’s Response: Thank you for taking the time to review this five star property. I noticed you left off a star and mentioned there was no AC. Our natural Air Conditioning is our “Trade Winds”. Air conditioners are unnecessary. As a matter of fact the building restrictions included “no air conditoners” for more than 30 years. If you leave louvers open at each end of the condo (bedroom and patio) the unit is very cool…..sometimes too cool. The building is designed to catch the winds as you can see by the Louvred bedroom door. I have found that just a few louvers opened will keep the unit cool which can be confirmed by my past guests.

AWESOME Family Vacation!

5 of 5

We LOVED our condo in Punaluu! The North Shore is SO much better then Waikiki! This building really is ocean front, and the beach is beautiful, and literally steps away from the condo.

Emmanuel was very helpful, with informative emails, which we really appreciated.

Condo was immaculate..very clean, and tastefully decorated! My kids slept on the sofa sleeper couch, and said it was VERY comfortable! Loved laying there listening to the waves. There is a lot of local residents in the building, and everyone was so nice an welcoming!

Next time we are in Oahu, we will definitely stay here!

Thank You Emmanuel, we made many new memories-

Close to the beach

3 of 5

Pros – pool and beach at backdoor, screened in lanai, decent area with amenities close by, nice beaches, lots of snorkeling and beach toys available in condo, awesome to have laundry facilities, tables & chairs on beach are nice, great view, very friendly and helpful security man

Cons – pool area can be noisy (it didn’t affect our stay) so if you want peace and quiet this might not be the best choice, sewer smell when windows open at night or any kind of an offshore breeze, floors sticky (could be due to salty sea air) but nothing a good cleaning with vinegar wouldn’t fix, facility gym isn’t the best.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Emmanuel was easy to work with for reservations, great communication.

Absolutely loved our stay here! It’s truly “a home away from home”… plus beach and warm ocean!

5 of 5

I’m not sure how we got this lucky! We booked the place one week prior our arrival to Oahu. Emmanuel was amazing to deal with. He was easy to reach by email, text or phone call.. he answered all my questions pretty much as soon as I had any 🙂

The place was just as it was described… and more… very spacious and clean. I was worried that there’s no air conditioner, but not once I felt warm/hot while inside. There is always a nice breeze that keeps the place cool.

Kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve. My husband was very impressed by the frozen beer mugs!

King size bed, pillows and bedding… very comfortable and cozy. My husband has back problems… but didn’t have any back pain in the morning (now he wants to get the exact mattress when we get home…lol)

We didn’t have any issues with drainage, as some people had mentioned. We must’ve been taking showers when no one else did, so it was fine 🙂

The building is in the perfect location if you want to explore the island. We could reach any beach we had in mind within 30 min to an hour drive.

We’ve used snorkelling supplies many times. There are plenty of other things for the kids, if you are a younger family..

Overall, amazing place for a good price!

Highly recommend!

Pat’s was a Great Experience

4 of 5

We found the reviews to be accurate. I will try and add a less common information.

We are a family of 5. 2 slept on the King size bed in the BR, another slept on a futon in the BR, and two slept on the hide-a-bed in the LR. Space was sufficient despite having 5 large suitcases and 5 carry-on’s. We stayed in Waikiki the year prior in a condo that had two queen beds in the BR and a hide-a-bed in the LR and we found this was more crowded than Pats.

Everything we needed was there for cooking.

Beach towels were in short supply (3 of them), but a chance encounter with the cleaning lady fixed that. I was going to text Emmanuel, but she had things fixed before he knew about it 🙂 If you are a large family, I suggest asking Emmanuel up front how many towels are available.

The beach on property is sparsely populated. There are minimal waves so good for young kids and you can snorkel. Emmanuel had the typical beach/sand toys at the suite. There were a couple life jackets too and some “floaty” toys.

There are fish and turtles in the water at Pats. If you are really into snorkeling it is worth the 30 minute drive to Shark’s Cove because it is better (more fish). Shark’s Cover is busy, get there early (around 8 am) before the crowds stir up the water. Some type of footwear to protect your feet from sharp rocks is a must at Shark’s Cove. Flippers may not work as it is very shallow and you are often walking.

If you are into Boogie Boarding, the waves at Pats are likely too small for you. Malaekahana Beach Campground is a 10 to 15 minute drive North of Pat’s with good wavers. There were 6 boogie boards at the suite when we stayed!

If you are into surfing, there isn’t any surfing right at Pat’s. You are a 30 minute drive from Sunset beach where there world class surfing. There are no surf boards in the suite. There were some stored on the north end of the property. I assume they belong to tenants, but I’m not sure Emmanuel has access to them.

There is a washer and dryer in Emmanuel’s suite.

I was a bit concerned about lack of air conditioning……I’m always “hot”. But this was not an issue. There was always a breeze while we stayed.

Enjoyed eating at Seven Brothers, Papa Oles, Domino’s, Tita’s Grill, Shrimp Truck, Fruit Stands, etc. All are within 10 minute drive.

Hauula Loop Trail is close by, easy, and a great way to stay out of the sun if you get burnt 🙂 Also enjoyed Kammieland Trail for views and pillboxes!

This condo is such a great place to base your Oahu visit. My family of five spent eight nights here and we loved it. The location is steps from the beach – a wonderful beach. There is a parking spot very close to the door. The condo itself is lovely. We cooked and ate many meals here. I loved having a washer and dryer. The king bed is comfortable and it was great to be in a separate bedroom. Emmanuel is wonderful. His communication is prompt and helpful and our transaction went so smoothly. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for something away from the crowds and chaos of Waikiki.

Loved Emmanuel’s condo!

5 of 5

Our family of 4 spent 10 days in Emmanuel’s condo in mid-February. When looking for a rental we noticed he had many positive reviews so that decided it for us. Emmanuel was a pleasure to deal with. In fact, he called us the day after we arrived to see if we needed anything. We couldn’t connect to wi-fi immediately and he helped take care of that promptly. The condo is exactly as shown in the pictures except that it is even roomier than it appears. The kitchen includes nice appliances, toaster, coffee maker, blender and lots of pots and pans. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the washer/dryer in the unit is so convenient. We ate most of our meals in the screened in lanai. The beach is really close. Lots of loungers to go around and the condo includes sand toys, beach chairs, snorkel gear, and beach towels. We often had the beach to ourselves for morning walks, and the most people I counted on the beach in one day was 20. Everyone was friendly — staff and visitors alike. There is a well stocked convenience store and fruit stand just down the street, or a larger grocery store is within 5 or 6 miles to the north. This condo has the best location because of the proximity to the pool and beach. A parking spot nearby is included.

We are thankful to have found this rental and recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, roomy, convenient, private place to stay. Plenty of activities within a short drive in either direction. It really felt like our home away from home! Can’t wait to come back.

Nice place…

3 of 5

We had a wonderful time in Emanuel’s condo. This was the first time staying in Punalu’u. The storm came in for a couple days but it was nice to stay in and relax. The place was clean and spacious. A little disappointed that the back screen doors did not open. I felt a little closed in. The kitchen is updated and is very nice with great counter space. The only problem during our stay is that the shower did not drain, so we had to stand in the shower water (2″ of water) or take Navy showers. Emmanuel did inform us it wasn’t working properly. This really should be fixed.

Overall we had a wonderful time there and the moonrise was so beautiful.

Submitted: Feb 17, 2017  Stayed: Feb 2017

Owner’s Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was to get a 3 star rating. My goal is to give each guest the best experience possible. I read about your disappointment the screen doors do not open. I will pass on your disappointment to the board of directors who have required this. I prefer the screens the way they are because it provides privacy. The fact you were disappointed by something that was never implied opens up an opportunity to be disappointed by pretty much anything. Thank you for limiting your disappointment to the door. As far as the bath tub draining I mentioned that it is slower than normal because it is ground floor unit. No amount of money will change that. However I have a maintenance man that would have solved your problem if you had let me know. As you recall we spoke many times about your inability to get wi-fi. We found the solution to the problem with the wi-fi was you did not read the instructions correctly

There is not were I would rather stay!!! Anywhere on Oahu

5 of 5

I love staying here. This was the second time I have stayed at this place. I have a membership at Marriott and I would still choose to stay here because it is so peaceful! I like to cook breakfast so we would have a nice breakfast on the screened porch every morning as the sun was rising. Then we would walk on the beach. The first morning there was a huge Sea Turtle resting on the beach. I’m not really a snorkel but the water was so nice we went snorkeling and loved watching the sea life on the coral. It amazing have a whole beach to yourself! I stayed in June and I have stayed in February..

Emmanuel is a super host answers questions quickly..

Clean, beautiful and convenient!

4 of 5

Really enjoyed the condo; it is super clean, nicely supplied with dishes, lots of beach toys for families and beautiful decor.

Sofa and bed need upgrade; and don’t be caught off gaurd by the additional fees of a $99.00 cleaning and $300 security deposits, plus additional $9 per person fee. The security is refundable.

For the beautiful exclusive beach and area this is a deal.

The host is very nice person. Mahalo!

Submitted: Feb 10, 2017  Stayed: Jan 2017

Owner’s Response: Sorry Helen the “hidden fees” were in the advertisement you responded to, the deposit request, the deposit received and final confirmations. I chose the bed and sofa in 2016 purchased brand new. Luckily all my other guests appreciate it.

Wailuku, Maui, Hi

Peace of Mind…this is it!

5 of 5

Since 2011, my siblings and I have rented individual condos when we all return home to Oahu for family vacations and I have stayed at five other condos/cottages on the property. This past weekend was my first time renting Emmanuel’s Unit located at #116 and it is definitely the cleanest and most convenient condo I have stayed at due to it’s price, it’s location is on the ground floor, it’s assigned parking stall is 15 steps away and the beach is only 30 steps away! The condo has everything you need to cook and lots of open space within/out and the enclosed lanai is a great place to have your meals. Free wifi is provided and the pool wifi will work while you’re on the beach fishing! As for security, you will have peace of mind knowing there is a double bolt lock on the front door, lock on the sliding screen/glass door in addition to Security personnel patroling the property/parking lot throughout the night/day. Yes, you will definitely be able relax and decompress here for sure! Hey and if you don’t want to cook…drive a few minutes to Hauula to a local family owned restaurant called Papa Ole’s for a delicious meal at an affordable price…you will not be disappointed! Lastly, but most importantly…Emmanuel is the most professional and accommodating owner. He immediately responded with clear, concise details prior/after your stay and he sincerely appreciates all who take care of his condo so others may have the opportunity to enjoy their vacations as well! We will return next year for sure!

Mahalo again Emmanuel…Aloha & Be Safe!

Paradise at your doorstep!

5 of 5

Back “home” for a family wedding, we wanted to be on the windward side of Oahu and as close to the beach as possible. This condo was perfect! Being on the ground level and a corner unit, it’s literally steps from the beach. Such a thrill to see sea turtles swimming by, and with snorkels can see variety of fish and more turtles. Emmanuel’s a great host, very responsive to questions (“how does the TV work? no grandkids here to help!”), and lots of helpful suggestions (where to eat, shop for groceries). We’ll definitely return!

Amazing!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights and it was just awesome! This was our first trip to Hawaii and we did not want to stay in Waikiki, so glad that we were able to rent this condo for a week! We did rent a car so everyday, we would take a road trip around North Shore. we love NS!

This condo is literally just steps away from the beach! Just walk a few feet and there you are, on white sand admiring the ocean. The groundskeeper keeps this property in tiptop shape and the owner is always available via text or phone if you should need him.

We hope to be back in a year or two and will try to stay at this condo.

Home Away from Home! Steps away from the Beach

5 of 5

Both my husband and I were both born in Oahu and have visited countless times since our childhood. We’ve stayed with family, different hotels in Waikiki and Ko Olina a few times. We’ve never stayed on the North Shore so this time we thought we’d try somewhere different. After reading all the rave review’s about Emmanuel’s condo at Pat’s at Punaluu, we decided to book. We are sure glad we did! My husband, 3 daughters (ages 10, 4 and 3) and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 nights here. It instantly became our home away from home. The kids loved going swimming almost every morning after breakfast. They couldn’t understand why we would want to go to another beach on the days we’d want to venture out to Ala Moana Beach Park and Ko Olina Lagoons. It was great to have snorkeling equipment, boogie boards and sand toys – kids loved them! While in town on our first day, we went to Costco and WalMart so we could stock up with food, snacks and supplies for our stay. We cooked breakfast almost every morning and also grilled steaks on the community BBQ grills. I think the only thing missing as far as cooking utensils would be cooking tongs and a spatula for flipping pancakes and eggs but we made it work! They even had a rice cooker which is essential for Filipinos/Asians! I ran along north shore (even on the beach at times) on mornings and utilized their gym. Their community gym is small with older equipment but if you enjoy working out – you make do with what you have – no excuses! I even did yoga on the grass, under the palm trees with the sound of the ocean waves in the background. How cool is that?! There’s no AC in the unit but there are ceiling and floor fans and the tradewinds are your natural AC! The weather was great while we were there June 28-July 8th. Since we’ve been to Hawaii many times, we knew all the spots we’d want to visit and places we wanted to eat. Drive can be 45-60min to get to different places around the island but we didn’t mind the scenic drive and planned ahead on those days. Emmanuel was prompt and precise with his email and text communications. Very easy to work with! We would definitely stay here again.

Sure thing on North Shore

4 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed an extended stay at this cute condo in Punaluu, a convenient location on the North Shore, making our first experience on the island of Oahu quite memorable. With a full tank of gas and sense of adventure, along with the complimentary swimming gear provided at the unit, we got the chance to explore many of the outstanding beaches and snorkeling spots on the island, including Sunset Beach, Sharks Cove, Three Tables, Ko Olina, Bellows Beach, Waikiki and more. We were only steps away from the beach here, and even closer to the water, with a nice pool right behind our first-floor lanai. The area was incredibly serene, though, so we experienced that peaceful, easy feeling with walks along the shore when we weren’t checking out the fun and sun at more bustling beaches. While the condo wasn’t luxurious, it was properly furnished and there were plenty of amenities, and the owner has provided a number of nice upgrades, including the refrigerator, dishwasher and flat-screen TVs with an extensive list of cable channels that are just right for late-night viewing. The courteous owner answered all our questions, provided detailed directions and suggestions prior to our visit and was always available via email. If we decide to return to Oahu in the future, we’ll certainly consider staying there again.

Great spot to relax

5 of 5

What a great week we had at your condo Nic! The sandy beach is just a few steps outside our door, and the view from the screened lanai is perfect. We were up and watched the beautiful sunrise on two mornings and enjoyed walking the beach when it was so quiet. The condo included fins, snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. We snorkeled and saw lots of beautiful fish by the coral outcroppings. We appreciated the well-appointed kitchen and were able to find pans, utensils and dishes for the meals we cooked. We would recommend this spot as a lovely vacation get-away.

Sisters week in Pats on Punaluu

5 of 5

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at the condo. It had everything we needed and cooked most of our meals. Loved having the snorkeling equipment and boogie boards! It was great that the condo was on the 1st floor and parking was very close. The beach is truly just steps away from the door and the beach really is pretty secluded. We also loved being away from the busy side of the island. We ate at Papa Ole’s which is worth the wait, food was amazing! We just wish we could have had a little better weather. This was our first time using VRBO and we were unsure how legit it was as we would have to pay upfront. However, there were zero problems and will used VRBO for vacations going forward.

Punaluu peace and quiet

5 of 5

We have absolutely no interest in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and the surrounding areas. This is why we chose this location for our 9 day stay, and we weren’t disappointed. No crowds, no traffic, and a beautiful beach right behind the unit with only a handful of visitors a day. We chose to have breakfast and a few dinners in, so after a small grocery run at the Foodland up the road, we were able lightly stock the full size fridge, and prepare several meals in the well appointed kitchen (and grill steaks one night at the outside gas grill). Outside temps and humidity was unusually high (local news even said so) for this time of year so the ceiling fans and floor fans got a lot of use. We also spent a lot of time romping around in the surf and then relaxing in the pool. Being on California time, we were up early every morning to watch the sunrise with our morning coffee, which is unique to the windward side of the island (sunsets are overrated, LOL!). Not being our first time on Oahu, we didn’t do a lot of exploring, rather we visited all of our favorite locales, beaches and restaurants. At the end of the day, bed was comfortable, bathroom and kitchen were clean, everything we used worked, and parking is only about 20 steps from the front door. Gosh, I wish we were back there now! Mahalo for the memories. A hui hou kakou…

Loving the North Shore!

Thank you for our wonderful vacation! We stayed 10 days and couldn’t have had a better time! The condo is nicely appointed, clean and best of all, on the ground floor with easy access to the beach for the gorgeous morning sunrise!

We drove all over the island, but our most memorable moments were at the condo watching our young children learn to snorkel with the gear that was applied in the condo! We will return again!

Short and sweet!

5 of 5

We just stayed for a short 2 night visit to the North Shore. We chose this rental because of it’s close location to the Polynesian Culture Center (a must do for anyone!) — only 10 minutes away! We were quite pleased with the rental unit, nicely updated and kept very clean. There were a couple of very minor inconveniences when we first arrived but a quick call to Emmanuel had him sending out his property manager, Elisha, who promptly and kindly took care of everything (thanks Elisha!!). Beds were comfy and the rooms very spacious with lots of fans for cooling. We spent most of our time exploring the small towns along the coast so we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or beach…but the pool looked clean and the beach was peaceful and deserted. You definitely need a car here and be prepared for some long line ups on the weekend in the more popular surf towns— there were many festivities going on during our stay—plan ahead and leave early in the morning!! If you’re looking for a good centrally located unit on the North Shore this one foots the bill perfectly– you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful stay!

5 of 5

We stayed in the condo for one week with our two small children and absolutely loved it. The condo was a perfect size for our family – the bedroom was large enough to accommodate all 4 of us (which included our pack ‘n play and mat for the kids), and the lanai provided a great outdoor eating and playing area for the kids. We cooked most meals at the condo and found the kitchen to be very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen tools. Most importantly, it was very clean – I didn’t have to worry about my little crawler on dirty floors.

We were hesitant about being so close to the pool, but we did not run into any issues throughout our stay. The pool was always empty in the early morning and evening hours and we weren’t around much during the day to hear any noise from the pool area.

The location was excellent. Being on the ground floor allowed quick, easy access to the beach and our car. It is a bit of a drive from the airport, but being far away from the crowds was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. All of the famous North Shore beaches are a quick drive from the condo, and the beach at the condo itself is so nice and secluded you don’t really need to go anywhere else.

We had a fantastic stay and hope to make it back someday!

My family stayed at this condo for a few days before we headed to the big island. The pictures are accurate of this unit. We loved that the sandy beach was only a few steps away from the condo. There is no air conditioning in this unit, but ceiling fans and a stand fan is available to help cool the condo off. This unit is close to the main road. It took a few days to get used to the noise since we had to sleep with the windows open…but nothing that a cheap pair of ear plugs could not fix : ) The only thing that we noticed was a sewer smell near the middle of the complex ( we could not smell it from our condo…only when we were driving by)

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was as described and was fully equipped with all of your cooking needs as well as extras such as snorkeling equipment, boogie boards etc. The location was great and was close to the north shore beaches which was a plus as there were surfing competitions which we attended. Despite the big surf a few miles away the beach at the complex was quite calm in comparison. The only issue that some might find is there are roosters across the street who start going off around 6:30 however, at this location you want to get up early to see the sunrise so it did not bother us. We definitely plan on coming back for a visit and bringing the kids. Thanks again Emmanuel for everything and the great recommendations.

Our stay at Emmanuel’s condo was a pleasant one. Everyone we came across was pleasant. The atmosphere of the condo was very relaxing and homely to say the least. We got to watch the sunrise in the morning and comb the beach for seashells. There were a lot of places to go for entertainment nearby. Emmanuel did not leave anything out when he described his condo and the nearby surroundings. I plan on visiting again soon! Aloha!

What a great stay. This unit is on an almost secluded beach. We kept track and the most people we ever shared “our” beach with was 5. We saw a woman training a horse one morning, tons of little crabs, and a great place to swim.

The building is older, I would even describe it as a bit run down but the unit is really, really nice. Even though the building is showing its age, there were people doing maintenance or cleaning outside every single day.

The apartment has literally everything you need. The washer/dryer was awesome to dry our swimsuits everyday. There is a full kitchen with every possible cooking utensil you can think of.

We happened to be there on a very, very hot week. It would have been nice to have central air but with the windows open and the fans going it was fine.

We did hear some noise from the neighbors upstairs but it wasn’t a big deal.

There are two markets within a 3-6 minute walk from the unit. Be sure to check out Too Bald Guys, awesome. If you drive the other direction there is a grocery store not to far.

Be sure to check out Papa Ole’s.

Emmanuel was great, you have to read the directions, he tells you absolutely everything you need to know.

We got up every morning at 5AM to see the sun rise, amazing.

I can’t wait to return!

We were so grateful that Emanuelle was able to accommodate our last minute plans. The condo was more than we expected. The layout, the furnishings, the location, the washer/dryer and the extra amenities were perfect. We are originally from Punaluu and just being on this side of the island reminds us of why we miss Hawaii so much. It is truly paradise.

This condo is exactly as presented in the listing. The full kitchen was a real bonus for us. There is a blender for my breakfast fruit smoothies. Yea! The area is extremely quiet, no night life whatsoever, a real bonus in our opinion. There is a full grocery store a few miles away and a convenience store within walking distance. The bed was very comfortable. The screened lanai was a bonus we did not expect. We kept the large sliding glass door wide open and sat on the lanai most of the time as we could see and hear the ocean wonderfully. We took nice walks on the beach too. Make sure you see “Ha-The breath of Life” at the Polynesian Cultural Center-just down the road. Amazing.

We enjoyed our stay and found Emmanuel very easy to work with. We had rented from him before several years ago. He is thorough and very specific about the arrangements. The location is great, right on the beach. We snorkeled just off shore and enjoyed the Polynesian Cultural Center and the North Shore beaches just minutes away. Only complaint is the internet, which only worked for a brief time.

Outstanding hideaway!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to stay here at the beginning of our vacation in March. The unit is ground level and the property is right on the beach! For those unfamiliar with the area, the beach here is protected by an offshore reef so there is no surf to be concerned with while swimming in the ocean. You can swim or snorkel in calm waters only 30 steps from the condo door! Also, as per the pictures, the swimming pool is actually between the lanai (patio) and the sand if you prefer chlorine to saltwater.

The unit is well stocked with all kinds of ocean gear to include swim fins, snorkels and masks, boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach mats. Head down to Hanauma Bay with some snorkeling gear and experience some of the most beautiful and tame fish in the world! The kitchen has everything you will need if you decide to cook in the condo and there are two charcoal grills at the other end of the building for people to use. FoodLand grocery store is 10 minutes up the Kam Hwy in Laie.

We would highly recommend this condo for travelers looking for a quiet retreat in paradise. Everything you will need is right there at your fingertips. Enjoy!

We really enjoyed our stay here, It was clean and very well stocked, Manny was quick to respond to any thing we asked about. The beach is clean quiet and beautiful. There is plenty of everything for the beach even an ice chest, chairs, mats, boogie boards you name it its in there, lots of games and movies, towels etc. We even entertained some friends who were staying on another part of the island. We will be back for sure and this time the kids.

Very happy we chose this unit.

This was our first trip to Hawaii. A family of four with two young adult children. The unit is nicely updated with a very comfortable bed. We had no complaints from our sons about sleeping on the futon and large self inflating air mattress. Everything we needed for beach fun was supplied. Nice quiet beach for low key snorkeling and sunbathing. We actually saw from the beach a whale breaching on one evening – awesome! The only inconveniences were that the integrated DVD player in the bedroom does not work and the remote needs batteries. We were able to use one of the DVD players from the main area – there are two but one does not work either – no sound. Small items to address that I’m sure Emmanuel is not even aware of…until now. Emmanuel is easy to work with and thorough in his communications. All of his instructions and expectations were clear and reasonable. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for helping to make our vacation fun and memorable.

Fantastic location, wonderful owner to work with, a quiet beach far from the crowds of Honolulu. This is country on Oahu as it should be and Emmanuel made sure that every little thing was taken care of. A wonderful, fully equipped kitchen and gorgeous amenities, comfortable furniture and screened-in lanai that allowed us to sit in the mornings with our coffee undisturbed. May I add that the property manager, Alan, was so accommodating and willing to share information about the surrounding area…. Beach equipment, towels, snorkels, boogie boards….we had everything we needed! I will NEVER hesitate to rent this unit again because we do know one thing for sure – we will be back! With beach on the front side and lush mountains to the back…it truly was our paradise found! Thank you, Emmanuel, for making our family dream vacation come true!

North Shore Condo Review

4 of 5

We used our stay here as a place to sleep and eat some meals. We did not spend a lot of time here. It’s not a destination beach, but the condo is steps from the beach. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and to the car. We explored the whole island, so we drove a lot to see different beaches etc. There is one bedroom…bed is very nice. One bathroom, but the toilet and shower are separate from the sink, which is helpful. We had our adult kids with us, so they were sleeping on the floor(on pads), so that was a little tough. We ate our breakfasts and dinners at the condo and there are plenty of dishes etc. however be prepared to buy a lot of staples as there are none, basically.

There were a couple of things that didn’t work(DVD’s with the tv in the living room) and the base for the Ipods had cords, but not attached to anything? We had 5 adults here for a week and although it was crowded, we made it work and we had a great time.

Owner’s Response: Mahalo nui loa for taking the time to write a review. I am so sorry you were not able to get the DVD player and Ipods to work. I am also sorry you were put out to purchase a lot of staples. I checked my letter to you and my advertisement. I am very sorry but I cannot take responsibility for items I do not advertise. On the bright side you were able to use the DVD player in the bedroom which once again is not mentioned in the advertisement. Mahalo for your input. I truly hope you enjoyed your stay.

Peaceful and convenient

We enjoyed our stay in your lovely condo. We had a great time as it was quiet and near the places we visited such as the PCC and Mormon Temple. It is very convenient since it is located at the ground floor so it’s very near where the parking stall is and easier to access especially when bringing in our luggage or things we bought. Mahalo nui loa!

Not quite as portrayed…

2 of 5

+’s:

  1. the owner was communicative and detailed about instructions and guidelines.

  1. the building is literally right in front of the beach

  1. newer items within in the unit (kitchen seemed to have been updated recently, washer/dryer)

  1. parking spot right in front

-‘s:

  1. the building is older and the parking lot smells like sewer

  1. Even though there are a couple of updated items, the unit is outdated and smelled like mildew (thank GOD I brought a scented candle; I walked around with it to every room and eventually used it all; I would suggest bringing at least 3)

  1. It felt really cramped. There was just a lot of [old] STUFF.

  1. Super noisy – my family and I barely slept our entire stay due to the constant noise whether it be the traffic driving by, the roosters, the neighbors walking around (unit is ground floor right next to the pool), or the gardeners and cleaning people outside.

  1. No AC – we wanted to close the windows due to the noise, but HAD to keep the windows open due to the heat and smell.

  1. Lots of little bugs.

I’m thankful that the owner was pretty friendly and responsive and I REALLY tried to like the place and really wanted to give a glowing review, but overall, the actual unit was really not a good experience. It was TOO outdated, smelly, and cramped. We were all pretty hesitant to lay our heads down and make ourselves at home.

Owner’s Response: Aloha and thank you for taking the time to write your review. VRBO comments are a great tool for potential guests to get an accurate feel of how it will be to rent a vacation home. They have given owners like myself an option to erase a bad comment but the caveat is they must erase ALL their comments and start over. This explains why many vacation rentals that have been in business for years (you can tell by the vrbo number…highest numbers being the newest) have hardly any comments. As you can see I have never erased any comments. I have just gone through all 108 of my reviews and found there are 99 Five star reviews and 8 Four star reviews. I have one one star and now I will have one two star review. Of course you can’t make everyone happy but I must point out the two bad reviews out of 109 are people that stood out. I responded to the one star comment on VRBO. This present two star comment was made during a record rain period (Nov. 4th to Nov. 8th) that may cause the air to be humid and encourage bugs to seek refuge. I have called the exterminator who is under contract to keep the place bug free year round. The guest who made this comment had backed their car into the parking stall which is an infraction of the house rules and covered in the Final Confirmation. They also snuck in a fourth guest that was not on their contract. The pillows they said they were hesitant to lay their heads on are three months new.

Great place right on the beach

4 of 5

To start with, the owner was very responsive. I made my reservation the same day I arrived. The apartment was clean and well appointed and truly only steps from the beach. I was able to get up early every morning, take a few steps and watch the sun rise over the water. There is a nice area out front where you can eat outside as well as an enclosed patio. All very nice.

My only negative comments are that the building is right on the road and the noise from the traffic was very loud. At night, we were woken up by traffic – specifically trucks. The other negative is that the pool is right in front of the unit. So when the neighbors go swimming, it feels almost like they are about to run into the living room. But over all, these are pretty small negatives.

The area is very quiet (something I liked) but also quite far from any civilization. It is probably a 20 minute drive to Turtle Bay and further still to Sunset beach. A few miles down the road there is a market. So you definitely need a car.

Ultimately, the owner was extremely fair and prompt. I highly recommend this place!

So very nice

5 of 5

Everything about our stay in this condo was so, so nice. Cannot imagine staying any place else when I return for another visit. This side of the island is so less conjested and so beautiful and serene. It is what I would consider the “true”Hawaii. Have stayed at other condos and hotels on previous visits ,none of which were as pleasant and memorable as this one.

The location is ideal and indeed you do feel as if you have your own private beach. The condo is very nice with more amenities than I expected. There is an abundance of sporting equipment, kitchen equipment(dishes, utensils, small appliances etc.), linens, audio and video equipment, games, books etc. You name it–it is probably in the condo. It is nicely furnished and clean. It is very close to the ocean and next to the swimming pool. In spite of the proximity of the pool to the condo it was never too noisy. The screened in lanai provided privacy and security and a marvelous site for our meals as well as enjoying the views of the ocean and pool. The trade winds and fans kept it very comfortable.

The owner of the condo is very committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. He was very responsive to all our inquiries and when a few problems arose that required attention he had someone there within an hour to take care of the problem.

While we had rented a car and were able to see the island via our automobile, out of curiosity we took the bus for a few trips into Honolulu. The Bus stops in front of the condo complex, is inexpensive and provides transportation to all parts of the island. The Bus is certainly a convenient, inexpensive transportation option.

The only caveat –if you like noise and partying, you may not be happy with this location. However, it is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy what Oahu, as a beautiful island, has to offer.

Extremely well stocked home, had everything we needed and more. I over packed thinking the place would not have everything I needed, boy was I wrong. Umbrella, beach chairs, more than enough boogie boards and snorkel gear. Plenty of towels, bedding, pots and pans, you name it, it’s there. Great private like beach for the kids with small waves for my 4, 6, and 8 year old to splash in, and my 14 year old was able to swim a little deeper and found some good snorkeling spots. We enjoyed having the beach all to ourselves on most days, only saw 2 other families on the beach throughout our stay. Only draw backs was not being able to enjoy the pool as much as we wanted because the kids were too loud and disturbed the neighbors, 🙁 I was aware of this set back from other reviews, so it wasn’t a shocker when the manager asked us to keep it down on a couple occasions, but there is plenty of other things to do, after all its Hawaii ! Lisa, the housekeeper, stopped by towards the end of our trip and was very helpful and informative, great lady. Emanuel was always easily reached and happy to answer any questions before and after our stay, even when I called to ask for a new security deposit reimbursement check (my kids tossed the original), he answered right away and started working on sending out a new one. THANKS AGAIN EMANUEL!!! This was a great place to stay, I will definitely return.

Our stay at Pat’s was fabulous. The condo was well equipped to meet all of our needs from kitchen utensils to snorkeling gear. We enjoyed the close proximity to the ocean as well as the swimming pool. Being on the east side of the island was wonderful as well. We were close enough to everything yet felt secluded enough to give that relaxed island feel. Would absolutely recommend this property as well as would love to stay again.

Thank you Emmmauel, this is a great property! the convienicne of a kitchen and ALL the amazing things supplied like boogie boards and sorkelling gear made our family trip wonderful. You are literally steps away from the ocean with an almost private beach. The beds are very comfortable and the futon works great for 2 kids! The only downside is noise, the traffic ouside and people walking past the bedroom window is difficut drown out even with the fans. But the property is well kept and Lisa and Emmaunel were both excellent at answering questions and being helpful.

This is the place you want to stay. We loved it. It was everything Emanuel said it was. It really is only 30 steps from the beach. What he didn’t tell us is how awesom it was to get up every morning and be on the beach before the sun came up and watch the sunrise. It was so relaxing and beautiful. Condo was beautifully decorated and well kept. Lots of snorkel gear and beach stuff. It was nice that it was on the end of the building and the parking place was very close to by. There was no extra charge for parking. Emanuel had emailed us great instructions so we had no problems when we arrived. We loved it that we were away from the City but close enough if we wanted to go there. We were only 10 minuets from the Polynesian Cutural Center which you really don’t want to miss. Found the best Shaved Ice at Angels next to Food Land by BYU. Also found great Garlic Shrimp at Tita’s a few miles past BYU. We went to 3 Islands, stayed in 3 condos and this was the most relaxing. Loved it. Hope to return again.

Our party of 5 was very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements. We saw a few bugs but we were not too bothered by it…it IS Hawaii! The owner was very helpful and answered all communications promptly. The beach was basically empty and the swimming was fantastic! Not too many fish were seen while snorkeling but we did see lots of turtles! The parking lot was a bit stinky, especially at night. Definitely use the provided fans at night to drown out the sounds in the area. All and all we were pleased and would stay here again.

This property was perfect for our family. The beach is perfect for families with small kids and those seeking a quiet place to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii! The beach is beautiful, and most days we were the only people on the beach. This allowed for our kids to run up and down the beach chasing crabs. The condo slept 5 comfortably, and the kitchen allowed us to eat at home when desired. Having all the body boards and snorkel gear in the condo was very accomodating, since we did not have to go and rent elsewhere on the Island. Northshore Stay

4 of 5

We just finished a week stay at Emmanuel’s place in Punaluu. We especially enjoyed the nearly private beach (that was literally right there!) And the screened in lanai. We made good use of the snorkels, masks, fins, boogie boards and mats – it was great not to have to bring those with us! The listing description/photos were accurate and the place was really well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and even bake cookies during our stay. We enjoyed the more local feel and felt we were close enough to North Shore and Kailua and even Waikiki for our needs. The condo was really clean and neat; the grounds were clean and well tended, if older, and the care takers were friendly and pleasant. We found this to be a great value for the price. We would recommend providing additional toilet paper and laundry soap. While there are an impressive number of rules, none of them were really hard to follow although I agree keeping kids quiet around a pool can be a challenge!

Lots of pros and some cons to consider

4 of 5

Pros…This side of the island is beautiful, with trade winds that keep the condo cool. The condo is indeed very close to the beach. The beach is beautiful, with crabs at night to search for with young kids and gentle surf for them to play in during the day. The beach was almost private. The inside of the condo was nice and matched the pictures online. The linens, plates, cups, etc. were very organized! The condo was generally quiet, especially with the fans on. The owner was nice to let us in early because the unit was available that day, which we appreciated. The property was pretty clean.

Cons…The pool has lots of “quiet” signs posted all around it, which seems a little difficult if you have small children who like to swim and play. The ocean view is difficult to see from the lanai because the condo is on the bottom floor and has plants blocking most of the view. The fan in the back bedroom is a must at night, otherwise you will hear everyone who shuffles by the room. Bring your own toilet paper because there was only a couple rolls provided and with 4 people that lasts maybe 2 days. There are a lot of condo “rules” which take away a little from the relaxing atmosphere of a vacation. The owner was very rude upon checkout because my husband had to stay behind to do last minute dishes….(my husband was not in the cleaning lady’s way at all and was just finishing up when she got there). My husband left about 15 minutes later than checkout time. The cleaning lady called the owner and the owner called us right away and was very rude about us leaving late. He wouldn’t listen to any reasons on our end and that was disappointing to us and could have been handled with more respect.

*Would I stay here again?? With small children, probably not. As a couple, without the rude checkout conversation, probably yes.

Submitted: Aug 1, 2012  Stayed: Jul 2012

Owner’s Response: Thank you to these guests for staying at the condo. I really appreciate them taking the time to leave us their feedback. The plants by the lanai, which are are kept trimmed to no higher than 2 to 3 feet, might block part of the ocean view when you are sitting down . This is the price of having the most convenient location. Please check the pictures which offer a true representation. The quiet signs by the pool are there in consideration of all guests staying at Pats at Punaluu. All guests receive a Final Confirmation letter prior to their visit. In the Final Confirmation it clearly states that all guests must read the Final Confirmation. In her feedback, the guests mentioned two things, not enough toilet paper and the late check-out issue, both of which are clearly addressed in the Final Confirmation. First, I do not advertise that I supply toiletries because it was a problem in the past when guests ran out of items. You will be responsible for your own supplies, although you will see that I do make an effort to make you feel welcome. Second, your deposit will be deducted for an additional nights stay should the unit not be vacated by 11am as the contract states. There are no half day rates. You will also be responsible for any expenses incurred affecting new guests or cleaning help. The check out time is critical because the next guest will be checking in at 3pm and we need the time to prepare the condo into welcoming shape for the new arrivals. The cleaning girl just confirmed that the 15 minutes her husband stayed was actually one hour. Maybe anxiety about the late check out was misinterpreted as rudeness by the guest. In any case, our sincere apologies. Finally, The guest did not mention that even though they did not meet the 11am check out requirement, we still refunded their full deposit.

Having ground floor unit and parking in front was very convenient. The unit was clean and organized. Kids enjoyed the beach and catching sand crabs at night. Papa Ole’s was the only thing near by with a good breakfast menu, otherwise McDonalds was 10 minutes away in Laie. Having 7-11 only 2 minutes away was convenient for those late night snacks. Emannuel was very helpful in all phases of booking the reservation. The wife wants to make sure we go back again and fully enjoy the unit as we were busy during the day and only stayed in the unit at night. We will definately recommend others to Emmanuel.

We were very pleased with the accomodations at this condo. It is literally steps to the beach where you can walk quite a ways. The condo has a private enclosed porch that looks out to the ocean. It was great for our morning coffee. The condo was clean and completely bug free. The kids enjoyed it. It is close to grocery stores, tons of local food places and only 15 minutes to Turtle Bay, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, and the fantastic snorkel/diving area of Shark’s Cove.

The condo did come with plenty of boogie boards, beach mats, and snorkel equipment; however, it would be nice to have a small ice chest to take lunch to the beach and a couple small beach chairs since the condo won’t allow you to take their chairs to the beach. Also, we had to buy laundry soap, hand soap, etc. It would have been nice to have some kind of cleaning product for counters, bathroom and such. Overall it was a good experience and I would definitely return. Also, the ground’s people for Pat’s at Punalu’u were very friendly and kept the common areas neat and clean.

Totally unexpected

1 of 5

My family and I booked this vacation months prior to our stay of June 12-19. Needless to say, we did not last two hours upon arrival. The pictures are not accurate – the place looks bright and cheery and “new”. That was not what we walked into. There were tiny bugs all over the black massage chair, cobwebs and spiders in the bottom kitchen cabinets, and a gecko in the bed. To top it off, the box of chocolates left on the counter were moldy. Honestly, I cried when we pulled into the parking lot. The appearance was rundown. I was hoping for better once we entered the premises, but was let down. I have booked rentals on line before and in fact we had just finished the “first leg” of our trip on the Big Island with no issues. I was greatly disappointed in how our family vacation ended – we were left scrambling around looking for another place to stay, therefore, incurring additional costs. Very disappointing and depressing. I would NOT recommend staying here.

Owner’s Response: Thank you for the opportunity to respond. I would like to point out a few important points: 1. Every guest before and after her visit has loved the place. I provide the telephone number of the condo for anyone to check. 2. The pictures are recent—less than two years old, and are a truthful representation of the condo. Since the pics were taken the changes have only been improvements such as: New curtains in both front and back rooms, New Kenmore washer/dryer, New refrigerator with the bottom freezer, New dishes, New pots and pans, New 32 inch LCD TV, New Iphone/Ipod docking system Stereo, New knife set, New desktop computer and Large Computer screen and New towels. I will continue to buy whatever the condo needs to be in top shape. 3. She stated she was left SCRAMBLING for another place to stay, yet she did not even contact me. I would not have left her scrambling; I would have bent over backwards to keep her happy, but I wasn’t given the chance. She didn’t inform me that she was unhappy until after she’d gone. 4. It was raining when she arrived and went SCRAMBLING for another place. There is always someplace on the island that is sunny. Sincerely, Emmanuel

A Beautiful Place

4 of 5

I looked forward every morning to walk out into the back, that’s right…walk out into the back, like it was your backyard and watch the sunrise each morning, even when it was a little rain the sunrises were as beautiful as the woman that I was blessed to share those moments with. An occasional turtle rose their head to see was over there on the land, and once I saw the whales just swimming by enjoying the morning trip somewhere…And if you’re lucky enough to come during the waxing moon, the nights are as beautiful as any movie or picture you ever seen or dream of a tropical night…its real!!!!! An ideal location for access to the busier North Shore spots and a nice drive down the coast to the busier Waikiki. And for those who just want to chill out and enjoy the beach the country atmosphere, this is the place. Food and restaurants are near by. Comfortable apartment with all the amenities and then some, you’ll find some new ones on your last day there. Looking at the calendar we gotta book early!!!! thanks

great place to stay!

This condo has the best beach and pool access of the entire building. Parking is also close to the unit. It is well equiped and clean. The building and grounds, though old are immaculately kept. While we were there the unit had a couple issues but Emmanuel was extermrly quick to react, very helpful and everything was great. By chance we met another person who had stayed in Emmanuel’s unit too. Imagine the chance of that! Her sentiments were exactly the same as ours, This is a fantastic place to stay and we will nver stay in Oahu anywhere esle. Thanks for a great time Emmanuel.

Great Condo

5 of 5

My family and I stayed at this condo in late May. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful from the very beginning….the initial reservation through our stay. When we found the wash machine was not working, he was very responsive and worked to immediately resolve the issue. He was very accessible if we needed anything and checked in to ensure the accommodations met our satisfaction. He is a very personable person and really works to provide excellent customer service. The photos posted are very accurate and reflected exactly what we found. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. We were leery about not having AC, but it was not an issue. We had a beautiful ocean breeze blowing in every day, it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you needed to fix meals. The condo was stocked with plenty of snorkel equipment which we used. And, it was true in that we practically had the beach to ourselves. It was a very enjoyable stay and we’d recommend this condo hands down. We’d stay again.

Beautiful beach just out the door!

4 of 5

The condo was just as pictured and very clean and well equipped. There is a nice breeze that goes through it to keep things nice and cool. The beach was amazing and very beautiful and quiet. A local neighbor told me that the snorkeling here was even better than Hanuama Bay. Unfortunately, it rained the whole week we were there so we didn’t actually try snorkeling here but the water was very nice and no big waves. You could see where the big waves were breaking out where the reaf is. We did have an issue while we were staying at the condo but Emmanuel was extremely responsive and helpful. He was very concerned for the quality of our vacation and making sure the condo was comfortable.

Best vacation ever!!

5 of 5

My husband and I recently spent 11 wonderful days in Paradise.

Everything was even better than we had hoped for. Everything is provided for you, all you have to do is kick back and have a blast!! My daughter and her husband and two kids aged 12 and 15 joined us for a week and had THE best time ever. We swam and snorkled several times a day, saw lots of sea turtles and just had a ball. We had rented a car and took a road trip every day, we discovered some amazing places and things to do within just a short distance from our condo. Every day was an adventure, we’ve already booked it again for next year. I really can’t say enough great things about this condo, it’s location is awesome, so quiet and with the beach right on your doorstep. We couldn’t ask for more. If you’re looking for a totally relaxing vacation while still being just a few minutes from Honolulu with all its hustle and bustle, this is the place for you.

Very impressed and highly recommend this unit!

5 of 5

We stayed in Hawaii for 10 days, 7 spent at this condo and 3 spent at a condo in Makaha. Our entire condo unit in Makala could have fit in this condo’s living area. Having the large bedroom, separate from the living area was a real benefit. The king sized top quality bed, felt like I was sleeping at home. The large bureau and end tables and full closet were great for storing all our clothing. The kitchen in this condo is first rate including all the supplies you would ever need- all top notch compared to our other condo. The dual sinks in the bathroom were a nice feature. There were even two sinks in the kitchen- nice! We could not believe that there was a lap top for us to use- what a huge benefit for getting around the Island, and finding things to do and learning about Oahu, not to mention keeping up with what was going on back hom. However, by far the most impressive aspect of this condo is the location. From the lanai you take about 15 steps across a well manicured lawn, onto a soft sandy beach, and jump into the warm, calm ocean water. You are not getting blasted by rolling surf, but can actually go for a swim, and snorkel in the reef. It is even safe for your kids to splash around in. The area is very quiet- far away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and there is no $20.00 per night parking fees, and your condo is not 3 blocks away from the beach. We visited Honolulu 3 times, a short 45 minute drive away, and visited Pearl Harbor, Waikiki, Diamond Head, The Sony Open Golf tournament, and many other locations, but loved coming home every night. There is no elevator to descend/ascend and no lenghty walks to the beach. You grab your coffee in the morning, walk out your screen door, and take your 15 stride walk to the beach, and watch the sunrise! Or go for a long walk along secluded, quiet beaches- far away from the maddening crowds!! I hope I have not missed anything. This was one of the most relaxing holidays I have ever had. I only wish I could have dragged this condo over to Makala for our last three days!! Michel’s description of his condo is 100% accurate and the photos reflect what you can expect. The Foodland Store is great (10-15 minutes away) and if you give them your phone # you get member prices- we saved $25.00 on a grocery bill of 140.00. The Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University with a beautiful cathedral and gardens is also nearby, as are three golf courses within 20 minutes- one of them is only $12.00 a round!

Quiet, clean, peaceful place in a rural, coastal setting. Hiking trails, breathtaking views, multiple non-hectic sandy gorgeous beaches, great swimmming…..are all right there. If you want the touristy shopping, the crowded beaches, fabulously expensive restaurants and the can-be-fun for a while hubbub…well…you can always drive back into Honolulu. Great vacation. We enjoyed our 10 day stay at the condo very much. Since it was our first time visiting Oahu we were unsure of the location but it turned out well as it was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. The tradewinds at the condo were always a pleasure and made sleeping comfortable. Our favorite part of the condo was the lanai and we pretty much hung out there for eating, playing cards, and just relaxing with the beautiful view. You can never run out of things to do in Oahu but it was great to come back to the condo to recharge our batteries after a day of fun! Emmanuel was kind and checked in with us several times during our stay. We have many fond memories of Punaluu.

Looking for someplace to really kick-back? This is just for you. Perfectly situated on the eastern side of the island, great for exploring all of Oahu and still have a quiet home base to return to. There’s big waves and lots of surfing and shopping close by to the North (don’t forget the Turtles, FANTASTIC!) and easy to make your way around the whole island from Punalu’u. Swim in the pool. We found the beach in our own back yard to be the BEST! Snorkel, swim, sunbath. Perfect water temperature. The condo is great and you really feel welcome, just home. Everything you need for cooking, relaxing, entertainment, even a washer and dryer (don’t over pack like I did). We don’t have kids but there seemed to be a more than ample supply of things for children and besides if your kids are anything like what ours used to be like they will never want to get out of the water. We spent hours there. The condo was wonderful and we are already planning our return visit.

Aloha! We stayed at this condo for 22 wonderful days. While we were originally cautious about booking such a long stay, sight unseen, I will say that his condo is exactly as described. Everything we could have needed or wanted. Beach gear and toys for all ages, lots of extra towels and sheets, huge paperback library, we borrowed 1 and left several of our own. Very well stocked kitchen.

Best of all… location location location. We could stay home at pool or beach, or be a short 20-30 minute drive from Kanehoe, Kailua, or Makapuu to the south or 20 min. north to the best snorkeling at Sharks Cove & 3 Tables (don’t waste $$ or time on Hanuama Bay, too crowded), surfing at Chen’s reef. Just the best. NOTE: shop at Foodland at Sharks Cove rather than Laie, much cheaper! Giovanni’s Shrimp was GREAT.

Emmanuel checked in with us, more than once, to make sure all was well. We had one very small issue and he took care of it right away. I give this 2 thumbs up!! I don’t think you will be disappointed. Feel free to request our phone number from him for additional information or references if you require.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this unit. It’s a corner first floor unit with the lanai fronting the pool and the ocean beyond. For us ex-kamaaina’s it was good to be away from “concrete city” (Waikiki) and revisit island living. It was great to be so close to Turtle Bay for golfing/drinks; stop in at Crouching Lion for dinner/drinks; shop at Tamura’s (cheaper than Foodland); and be sure to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center about 5 miles away. It’s pricey but it is absolutely the best! Emmanuel is a really cool braddah that is easy to get a hold of and quick to respond!

Its in a perfect spot to really see all of the island and just far enough away from downtown to feel like you are away from the rat race. The beach is really nice although we were unlucky with the weather. The natives told us that the windy overcast weather we experienced was unusual but we were able to get one good day at the beach. This condo is a great value for anyone looking to get away from the crowds but not spend a fortune. The condo is decorated really nice and has everything you need.

First of all, Emmanuel is AWESOME!!!!! So friendly and sweet. I came to Oahu for a week with 4 of my girlfriends and we stayed at Emmanuels condo… Can I just say…BEAUTIFUL?!!! It’s steps away from the beach. He has so much snorkeling equipment(fins, masks, snorkels)… You can snorkel right out in front of the property. There is a private beach, really peaceful… So one way you get an amazing view of the beach, and the other way, you get a view of the beautiful mountains… So PERFECT! The condo has internet access, tv, huge king sized bed, futon, enclosed patio(but the breeze just flows right through). Towels, laundry in the unit, pots, pans, cups, blankets, pillows… Seriously, everything you need is there! It’s a very nicely decorated unit!!!! But also has that beachy, laid-back-Hawaiian feel to it. I am SOOOOOO glad I found this place! I loved it so much here, that I am seriously considering buying a unit in the complex. Stay here, you wont regret it! I give it tons of thumbs up!

Excellent property, super clean, no bugs or wet or anything negative, lots of supplies, dishes etc. Excellent size, everything worked great, super great beach, quiet with excellent security, great people in building. But the best part is the owner, so honest, upstanding, and geniunely concerned about his guests.Don’t be afraid to rent from this owner, he didn’t get all these positive comments for nothing – didn’t get to meet him but he felt like family via emails and the phone.Just a note, bring earplugs anywhere you stay because there are wild roosters all over the island and they do like to get up early!Go enjoy, you will really be glad to get away from waikiki and still be close to everything.

Our little family lives in waikiki and it was so nice to get away from the city. It was so beautiful and relaxing, there’s boogy boards which our one year old loved, snorkeling, fishing right off the beach,or just taking a tan at the beach which is steps away and also the pool right out the back lanai, internet in the condo, also the condo was beautifully furnished with a great breeze from the beach. There were so many games, movies, and music provided, that we never could run out of fun. Like marrio brothers(nintendo 64), or Hitman(x-box), fun for kids. We live here and we enjoyed ourselves on this-get-a-way it help bring us closer together and our child slept better. Don’t beleive us try it! The beach is so calm and I really loved that is was not crowded and everyone was very freindly. There is Sunset Beach, polyenison cultural center, 7-11, and many places to eat, it is so beautiful at night with the full moon shining on the ocean as we were eating dinner on the outside lanai, the condo is well set up and has everthing you could want right at your fingertips, we rate it at a 10……Aloha

The unit is very well equipped, clean and bright. The screened lanai is a pleasant place to take a meal or just to sit and enjoy the sound of the surf and the view. The beach is quiet and safe to swim in even in the winter high surf conditions when we visited in November.

The owner has recently had ceiling fans installed which work very well at maintaing a comfortable temperature and airflow throughout the apartment.

The owner and the lady who does the cleaning are both very pleasant to deal with and add to the enjoyment of a visit to this vacation rental.

A minor problem with the wireless internet was dealt with immediately by phoning the owner who arranged for a very competent and very pleasant computer consultant.

Should we ever visit Oahu again we will certainly try to rent this unit again

What a wonderful condo for us to enjoy on our very first trip to Hawaii in September this year. Very nicely decorated, very clean and within 30 steps to the beach, where the water was absolutely beautiful & calm. Everyday we practically had the beach to ourselves, where we made use of the snorkling equipment provided. We saw many different beautiful schools of fish, a morey eel & a sea turtle one day. We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai every morning to have our breakfast and enjoy the view. If you turn right out of the condos, you can enjoy a very nice 30 minuite drive to Sunset Beach and watch the surfers. Another 15 minutes or so to we were at Haleiwa with its cool atmosphere, plenty of nice restaurants and shops. We loved driving to Waikiki and shopping at the International Market.

There is just so much to do, but the best thing is you get to come home to such a great relaxing place.

THANKS SO MUCH EMMANUEL!

Our family had a wonderful seven day visit at the condo. Before arriving, we were a little concerned about finding comfortable accommodations for all six of us. Upon arriving we were pleased to find that there was plenty of room and bedding for all.

Everything was as described on the website. Boogie boards and snorkeling equipment were great and everyone was able to find equipment that fit! Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, spices and basics. Pool, patio area and beach were only steps away. (Great area for snorkeling and calm beach for the kids.) Computer with internet was a big help. Always felt safe on the beach and in the neighborhood.

We were a little apprehensive before arriving because we had found the condo on the internet. We are now totally thrilled with the rental. Emmanuel always responded quickly when we had questions or concerns prior to our arrival. He also checked in by phone during our stay to be sure all was ok. Feel free to call me if you have any concerns prior to renting. (530) 559-0105 Ron

Fantastic! This condo is right on the beach. I love the three dining tables with umbrellas adjacent to the swimming pool area. I didnt get a sunburn and I was out in the sun for 2 days on the beach. I had a nice glass of wine and some snacks at the tables as the sun set on the beautiful beach. The water is calmer early in the morning. I found the afternoon surf and undertow quite strong. I would recommend swimming in the morning if possible. The condo was great. Highly recommended.

We just returned from a wonderful vacation at Mr. Chen’s condo. As past guests have commented, we too were a little hesitant renting on line but you can rest assured, it is exactly as described in print and in pictures. This truly was THE BEST unit in the building. You cannot get any closer to the beach, which had no more than 6 people on it at any given time. The sunrises were amazing and Mr. Chen supplies you with everything you could possibly need for a really enjoyable holiday. The King size bed was sooo comfortable! This is definately the place to stay for a quiet, relaxing time. We look forward to our return next year. Mahalo!

We just got back from Hawaii and are making plans to go again. Mr. Chen’s condo was extremely accomodating. We stayed there with our four kids. It was wonderful to have plenty of boogie boards, masks, snorkels, coolers, etc. to use. We also made use of the washer and dryer and DVD player. Anyone would be very comfortable staying here, and the beach is AWESOME. Thank you Mr. Chen. By the way, we did receive our full deposit back, which also was great.

My husband and I just got back from a glorious week at Emanuel’s condo on the lovely windward coast. If you are looking for a quiet, empty, beautiful beachfront place, this is it. The condo is simple but very clean, and well-stocked. We have our own snorkeling gear, but he does stock the place with lots of stuff if you don’t. There are beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots of videos, books, etc. (we never used those once!) The beach is safe for kids, because it’s protected by the reef 1/2 mile (?) away, but it’s also great for snorkeling. I saw a 400-500 lb. sea turtle a few hundred feet out toward the reef. There are plenty of fish and sealife! Many of the people are retired residents and very friendly. Even Ken, the caretaker/gardener, was super helpful with snorkel/travel tips. The north shore waves/ Haleiwa town is about 20-30 mins. north, and Kaneohe Bay about the same distance south. This is NOT the place if you like to party, drink, club and have Waikiki style beaches and fancy accomodations. We never saw more than 7-8 people at a time on the entire stretch of beach. Also, the washer/dryer is very convenient- you go home with clean laundry! I was worried renting off of craigslist, but it really worked out.

We just got home (12/31/07) from a one week stay at Mr. Chen’s condo. Everything from start to finish was a wonderful experience!! He is very quick to respond to your emails and I was very impressed to get a personal phone call fomr him before our arrival.

It was a plesant drive from Honolulu and I could do it like I lived there after a couple of days. The weather did not quite work in our favor to partake in all of the beach gear, but we definately want to try again when it is not Winter.

Everything was fabulous and it felt like home. Would never stay in a hotel when the beach is right outside the door. Who could ask for anything more! It made our first trip to Hawaii very enjoyable and much more relaxing with a 1 year old and his 8 year old sister!

THANKS MR CHEN and LISA too!!

This condo was everything the ad mentioned! Emmanuel Chen responded very promptly to all e-mails. I must admit that I was a bit nervous to book a condo on line, however, reserving this condo put all my fears aside, it had all the ammenities one could ever need! The beach truly is spectacular and secluded. And as other guests have mentioned, the bed was very comfortable and the unit very clean. I would highly recommend your next vacation on the North Shore of Oahu and staying at Mr. Chen’s condo! PS: we received our damage deposit one week after we returned home! (Nice!)

Wow, what a great place. Thank you Emmanuel for a great vacation. The condo accomodated all 5 of us, 4 adults and 1 two year old. The condo was completely stocked with everything you need for a beach holiday, snorckles, boogy boards, even plenty of beach toys for the kids. Kitchen is fully stocked for creating a great meal. Beds are comfortable and linens are fresh and clean. It was good to have a washer and dryer in the unit. The location is perfect, just steps from the very secluded beautiful white sand beach. Never saw more than 2-4 people on the beach at a time. The pool, is also just outside the door. This place is great for sleeping, you can hear the ocean waves breaking all day and night. So nice to get up in the morning and have your coffee just steps from the beach. The time of year we went, October, the weather is perfect. The location to outside activities is perfect. The Polyesian Cultural Center is just minutes away. The North Shore to watch surfers is just a 10 minute drive. The super market is also just minutes away. The little store, Kaya’s, just across the street and down a bit is a perfect spot to pick up small items and a lovely little walk. All the amenities of the big city in a small rural town. If you like a beach vacation, but don’t like the city life, crowds and traffic, then this condo at Pat’s at Punaluu is the perfect place. We will be back.

I just wanted to say I really enjoyed my stay at the condo. It was a tough life. Getting up, drinking my coffee, walking 2 minutes to the small store down the way and buying the paper. Then a little walk on the beach, snorkeling and reading on the beach for the rest of the day. Being on the first floor and in the corner unit made everything convenient and noiseless. The weather was great and when it rained it was just brief spurts. This was the best way to visit Hawaii and your unit lacked for nothing. I’m so glad I found your place.

We stayed Aug 5-12, 2007. We arrived very late at night but had no

problems finding it or getting in. As was stated in ad it was very stocked with supplies.

Kids loved the boogie boards. The beach was right there, perfect location. We

never went to another beach for swimming, too convenient. Loved being away from

Waikiki. The price was great too. Mr. Chen was very accommodating with our extra

day also. We would recommend this condo to anyone.

We stayed at the condo from 7/16 thru 7/23 2007.

The condo was very clean, airy and extremely

comfortable. It was also stocked with all sorts of

swim equipment; fins, goggles, masks and boogie

boards. It made a huge difference to have a

turnkey furnished apartment to come home to at

the end of a busy day instead of a cramped hotel

room.

I was a little nervous about renting over the

internet, but Mr. Chen made the process a very

positive experience. He was professional,

communicative and friendly. I must say, that the

level of service and customer care he provided is

very hard to find these days. When we had

problems with the microwave, Mr. Chen arranged

for a replacement within 2 hours. My son still is

talking about his new friend Emmanuel who took

such good care of us.

The beach is literally 80 feet from the condo’s front

door. It is also very calm water. We were able to

swim here when the current at some of the North

Shore beaches was too rough. We never had to

share the beach with more than three of four

people and the gorgeous mountain backdrop was

way more impressive than the Waikiki hotel skyline.

I highly recommend this condo. The price is hard

to beat and you definitely get well beyond your

money’s worth. We will be back next summer, if

not sooner.

Thanks so much for a great week!

We rented the unit in Hauula, Oahu February 21 – March 1, 2007 and had a wonderful time. The unit was fine for all of us and the beach was absolutely beautiful for adults and children alike. It was convenient being located on the ground floor with access to the pool and shower nearby, not to mention being 100 feet from the beach! The two grocery stores in Laie were just a few minutes drive away and had a good selection. We particularily enjoyed the variety of poke available! All we read and the pictures we saw on the website are accurate – a real gem!

Hopefully, we’ll be able to travel to Hawaii again soon!

I would highly recommend this vac home to anyone visiting Oahu. It was just far enought away to avoid the hussle and bussle of town but close enough to make the trip at anytime. We appreciated the solitude after very busy days of trying to see and do everything in one week. The washer/dryer and kitchen were a big plus and helped make our vacation great. The only thing I regret is not being able to stay longer. One week is not enough time. Next time we will stay two weeks and most certainly stay at Mr. Chen’s place.

We just spent 2 weeks at Emmanuel’s condominium in Punalu’u . It is the perfect place! Swimming and snorkeling was fantastic and Emmanuel has thoughtfully provided a closet full of fins, masks, and various ocean sports equipment for your use. It was a very homey atmosphere and we had everything we needed at hand. The kitchen has every cooking implement you need; the local foodland is just a few minutes up the road. We also found the neighbors in the building to be very friendly and helpful. There is a little store in the condominium complex that carries necessities and is run by Lillian and Robert, two of the nicest people you will ever meet! The pool is very clean and well maintained as is the condo and you won’t find a better rental agent then Emmanuel!. We would walk the beach at 4:00 am and felt completely safe.If your looking for the true spirit of aloha, beautiful beaches, very few tourists, then I would not stay anywhere else! We are already planning our next stay and will be staying for a month in what we found was paradise. I also would like to add, that this was the first time we used vrbo, so I was a little nervous but Emmanuel put me right at ease and supplied all the information I needed and to my surprise our cleaning deposit was here within days of returning home. If you have any questions regarding this condominium rental please feel free to e-mail me.

My family & I just got back from Hawaii and Mr. Chen’s condo. I wanted to thank you, Emmanuel, for giving us a chance to create many wonderful memories. Our first night at the condo we ran into problems with the computer and there was a tech there within a half hour. What service!

I have to say that at first, I was beginning to think that I had made a mistake renting the condo in the secluded area…then we made the mistake of going into Waikiki for some “excitement”. Waikiki is like LA- lots of cars, traffic, and people. If you want to relax and feel like you are truly in “paradise”- stay here. The condo is clean and loaded with everything including a well needed washer and dryer. The beaches are beautiful on that side of the island. And if you crave the “excitement” of Waikik- it’s only about a half hour drive…and you will be so happy to come back to the condo.

I cannot say enough good things. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

And Mr. Chen is very professional and personal.

We were very impressed with the quiet beach and the long stretch of sand for walking every morning. What a difference from Waikiki! we did drive into Honolulu for a day and enjoyed hiking Diamond Head and shopping in the International Market, but were less than impressed with the crowds at Waikiki. It was difficult to find a spot to place our towels! We generally liked the northern end of Oahu which was very scenic and different from our Midwest.

Walt and I felt right at home in the condo. I zeroed in on the chocolate covered macadamian nuts and delicious Haagan Dazs (sp?!) ice cream. A real treat!! Walt’s favorite perk was the frosted mugs – he had a beer or two every night on the porch. We both used the internet service several times during the week. It’s too bad we didn’t have more time for then we could have snorkeled or watched some of the videos. A week isn’t enough in Oahu – we are already planning a return visit in the next couple of years. Hopefully, we can stay in the same condo on our next trip.

The condo was everything we’d hoped for and more. The swimming pool really was outside our door. The ocean really was 20 feet past the pool. The little convenience store was directly across from our unit. The grandchildren had a whale of a time with all the water toys. The unit was clean and we appreciated the coffee, tea, sugar, etc. that we found in the cupboard. Mr. Chen was a great help to us with all the problems that arose from our end. (Including an extra grandchild coming with us at the last minute.) The movies were great on the day it rained. The beach was superb! Even the gecko our youngest (8) found co-operated and let her have a really good look at him/her. The only complaint ……5 grandchildren and only 1 computer!!! All of them wanted to be on the internet every evening telling family and friends how great Hawaii is, and everything we did that day. Would we stay at Sandy Shores again? In a heartbeat!!

The beautiful beach, practically private, with great snorkelling and spectacular sunrises.

We enjoyed the privacy of the condo over the bustle and crowding of a hotel and saved a bundle of money having a well appointed kitchen with shopping close by.

Definitely the destination on Oahu for us, half an hour to great surf at Haleiwa. Loved watching the pros at Banzai Pipeline and Sunset Beach.

Dear Mr. Chen,

I just wanted to thank you again for allowing us to rent your lovely condo. Despite the rainy weather, we had a wonderful time. The quarters were immaculate and very comfortable. The beach was beautiful and the ocean was just the right temperature. Lisa was able to change her cleaning schedule so that Stan and I were able to stay until evening on Sunday. She seems like a lovely person, as do Bob and Lillian in the little shop next door. I’m sure I’ll be back some time in the future and I hope you’ll allow me to stay at your place again.

If you want to stay on the most beautiful side of the island, where just steps from your front door is the beach, a pool & a lifetime of memories, this is your place. 5 of us (3 kids) slept comfortably, and had so many extra amenities that were available to us. Early morning coffee on the patio and walks on the beach were so nice. Waiamea Bay was our personal favorite, it was a short drive to paradise. We had the beautiful fish and sea turtles right there. We were able to golf at the different courses, they were beautiful. We all snorkeled and had a lot of fun. We caught the “Aloha” Spirit and didn’t want to leave. Waikiki was nice for shopping and the Blue Hawaii Show at the Beachcomber Hotel was very enjoyable. Hawaiian Waters, a swim park, was a lot of fun for the whole family. Eman had movies galore for relaxing at night. Be sure to go to the Crouching Lion for dinner. The king sized bed was roomy and nice. It was nice to have all the amenities that were offered from this condo. The islanders are friendly and nice to talk with. A lifetime of memories starts here!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the condo. We have traveled many places and have never had the amenities Mr. Chen provided. The place is stocked with movies, nintendo and games, books even a computer. The locals are very friendly and we enjoyed Mr. Chen’s nieces! The beach is perfect and you have it and the scenery all to yourself. I would definitely go back. The Days

Hauula is about as far as you can get from Waikiki, literally and figuratively. Definite “locals” area. Condo is steps away from a virtually private beach… we never saw more than a handful of people on a stretch of sand about a mile long. Unit is far

from new, but extremely well equipped… all kinds of snorkel gear of all sizes — a pleasant surprise.

You have to drive for almost everything — adjacent store’s inventory pretty slim — but the scenery is beautiful — both ways. Suggest you get a jeep or convertible! Nearest grocery story (Foodland) five miles north. If you want night life, stay in Waikiki. If you enjoy sunrises, this is your kind of place!

I didn’t actually stay at this condo, however, we stayed at Emmanuel’s other condo in Waikiki — totally heaven. Upon our arrival, Emmanuel showed us this condo and I was totally impressed. He was going the extra mile and lining shelves because he had guests coming in two days….this was late in the evening and he offered to show us the condo. Located right on the beach; clean, every electronic gadget you could want. Next

vacation we will split our time between this condo and the Waikiki condo.

Dear Mr. Chen, I recently rented your condo for a family reunion and we all had such a great time!! Your accomodations were well equipped and very clean and the location along with the quiet atmosphere of Hauula brought us all back to the Hawaii we grew up with. We will definitely be recommending your rental to all our friends locally and on the mainland USA!! Thank you so much for making our reunion wonderful!! Maxine Shea

I just had to leave a note about Emmanuel Chen’s rental to me and my family. It was truly a great Hawaiian adventure for us and a time we will remember and gauge other vacations by. First I would like to comment on the location, it is so close to the ocean you hear the waves as you relax. The view of the mountians are breath-taking and when we arrived the condo was emaculate. I was nervous about not being able to use my credit card and the three hundred dollar deposit that was required. So I just withdrew the cash from my card, being cheap, and wanting my frequent flyer miles Mr. Chen promptly refunded my deposit upon our departure. My wife wanted me to add that it was a great convience for her that the accomodations had come stocked with video games to keep our children busy while we had some private time to just relax. We intend to visit here again and certianly recomend that if your looking for that special place this is the one. Best Regards, James C. Snyder

I’m a local girl from Hawaii, and took a much needed vacation at Emmanuel’s Hauula vacation rental. The location is what vacationers imagine Hawaii to be!! And this is coming from a local girl from Hawaii!! You are just a few feet from the clean ocean, no polluted (suntan lotion) water to worry about. The rental is very clean, it had everything we needed. It was definitely a good experience, and what a bargain!! I highly recommend it.

We had a great time at the Hauula condo. The beach is literally 20 yards from the front of the condo and gorgeous ocean views. My son, daughter and her friends all thoroughly enjoyed themselves for the week. I have known Mr. Chen for years, and he is honest, dependable and fair. He treated my children as if they were is own. He is truely loved by all of us. Any comments to the contrary, well, I guess you would have to consider the negative source.

Aloha! And Mahalo to the Owner of the best oceanfront condo we’ve ever stayed at. It was also the first vacation unit we’ve stayed at that supplied swimming, diving, surfing and fishing supplies for guest to use at no additional cost. Thank you $! I got to sunbathe on the clean white sandy beach, as my husband took the two boys to do the watersports activities. Thank you… Thank you!! The unit we stayed in supplied the most we’ve ever got in Hawaii. The 2 tv/vcrs was wonderful. The boys watched movies (movie library included!), as we watched ours. The boys played the tv ninento game, as we played the cd stereo (cd music library included!). Access to a computer was my total satisfaction. Large W/D was the BEST! Thank you for relieving stress! We’ve told our family and friends about this oceanfront getaway (business owners and corporate executives). I am a very particular person… (doctor says) and was very pleased w/EVERYTHING this Owner shares at a very, very reasonable cost. Thank you. See you soon… very soon.

Aloha,

We had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful place.

We loved the location and the condo with amenities was everything and more than advertised. It was well stocked, clean and very comfortable – we were sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

In addition, the owner was terrific to do business with. We left the unit clean and in good condition. We received a nice note from the owner who thanked us for our efforts and our deposit was refunded in full immediately.

Thank you for sharing your lovely unit with us.

Hello everyone! I just wanted to comment on my vacation staying at this property #3010 in Hauula. I had the best vacation ever when I stayed here. In fact, it was my 4th trip to Hawaii and I’ve never been more pleased with any place I’ve stayed. This condominium is perfect for a small family or for a few friends that want to get away. Literally, it is only a few steps from the glorious beach. There is great snorkeling and the owner even provided equipment for us to explore the beautiful ocean with. The condo was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at on any trip I’ve been to…anywhere, and I’ve traveled a lot. We all know that Hawaii is known for it’s little critters, but I was amazed to have a whole month there staying in a bottom floor condo and not once seeing a bug, unless of course it was outside the screen on the lanai when I was out there listening to the waves crash. Even staying in a highly rated Outrigger property on Waikiki Beach, I have never been so impressed. I must say that I out of many people would be able to tell you how vacation facilities should be. I’ve worked for Best Western, The World’s Largest Hotel Chain® for a year and a half and I know the standards most people set and look for in a place to stay away from home. THIS IS YOUR PLACE! The owner is a wonderful person to work with and completely fair. I would absolutely stay here again and plan to in the future when my time does permit. We got our complete deposit back and didn’t have a single problem. We were even treated with delicious chocolate macadamia nuts when we left because we left the place so clean and in its original arrival status. I hope all of you will stay here, because I can vouch that this is a wonderful vacation condo and I will have the most wonderful memories of this trip because of it. Thanks!

Super vacation, super location, super weather. I loved the nice amenities of the condo, the personal touch was very much appreciated. The beach is right out the door, like private, nice and secluded. The support staff, or whatever they were…were great…no problems…just a lot of friendly helpful people. I highly recommend this vacation rental. Thank you Manuel

09/17/2002 What a great place to spend the vacation you always wanted….just like the ad reads, 30 steps to the beach, talk about location on a tropical island, it is located in the most tropical area of Oahu, close to everything but enough away to enjoy the spirit and peace of the island, The condo was furnished with every possible need, from books to read to video and CD’s, Nintendo and tapes,,,what a great time we had, My son and family stayed with us at the condo (stationed at Kaneohe)and very comfortably slept 6. I highly recommend it and the price was right too. The beach was deserted most of the time and we had it all to ourselves. I would not stay on Waikiki again knowing this place was on the other side of Oahu. Check in and out was easy, and no problem in getting the deposit back,,,,,,my grandsons had a great time with all the snorkel gear and boogy boards, full kitchen, washer and dryer, great beach access on bottom floor, at the end of the building where it is quiet, and I can’t say enough about the beach, if anything it is the reason to stay at this condo, fantastic!!!!! Aloha and Peace in the world…(from a mother of a marine)-Betty and Al, Modesto CA
